Okay, I will let you go  on thinking feminism is pointless. You can be very proud and built up in your idea that we are all man-hating lesbians.

I think, though, that you will not be so quick to insist that women are treated like whole human beings after your girlfriend comes home stone cold after being raped by a group of men who will likely never go to jail or after your sister complains that she is making noticeably less than her coworker who does the same job just because her body is capable of having a baby.

you do realize that women in the states still don’t make as much as men??

and that when a rape case goes to court, a woman is questioned about what she was wearing, if she was drinking, etc.

and that “rape fraud” is permissible under certain technicalities of the law because the woman did give consent (because she believed the perpetrator was her boyfriend/husband)

and that marital rape (rape committed by a current, separated or estranged spouse) is dealt with much, much more lightly than non-marital rape in the majority of the states?

When a homeboy wants to date you and you turn him down so he publicly calls you a bitch and implies that you’re a tease and calls you some racist slang words and other people you know saw him say this and you wonder if they believe him or you and you are a pushover so you apologize to him for leading him on (but you didn’t ever at all and you really shouldn’t have said sorry and justified all of his sexism) and he says that’s okay because he was never upset because he doesn’t know you know what he said about you
